Why Jerks? Coffee Jerks is named as a tribute to the grandparents of our founder Kenny Wooldridge. Kenny’s grandmother was a soda jerk at the Watonga drug store. She had to physically jerk the soda machine to get the soda which is where we draw inspiration from. When Coffee Jerks opened in 2017, it was named as a tribute to her, the original coffee jerk.
