View ProfileHi, I’m Tiffany! I grew up learning to bake in my grandma’s kitchen, where there was always a pan of cake on the counter. With nearly every trip through the kitchen, we’d stop, grab a fork, and get a taste. I grew up with my grandma, and she showed me the way around a kitchen. While I wouldn’t say I use her recipes, per se, I definitely use her processes. 2012: YUKON BAKERY OPENS. A few short years later, we had severely outgrown our home kitchen. We took the leap, and opened our first brick-and-mortar storefront called ButterSweet Cakes. Custom cakes were the primary focus, but we also sold our recipes in the form of cupcakes. As fate would have it, cupcakes exploded in popularity and eventually became the majority of the business. 2015: EDMOND BAKERY OPENS. With things in Yukon going so well, we decided to take another big leap and open a second cupcake bakery, this time on the west side of Edmond. We opened in July of 2015 with crowds waiting. 2018: COFFEE BAR OPENS. With such a strong cupcake following, we decided it was time to pair them with great coffee. In June, the Motion Coffee bar at ButterSweet Yukon opens. FEBRUARY 2020: HOMECOMING Having met and grown up together in Moore, the couple returns to the area opening up ButterSweet Southside at SW 134th and Western. [read more]
